The choir was pleased to support the British Red Cross singing for a charity fund raising excursion train . At the start of the day the choir performed at Bishops Lydiard Station before the specially chartered steam train left for Minehead. Later that afternoon Minehead station was the venue for another performance where the choir was able to exploit the unusually good acoustics of the platform. Town's Male Voice Choir heads charity fundraiser
The Mendip Branch of Parkinson's UK is hopped to hit the right note by presenting an evening of fine choral music in support of the charity. Performing at the event were the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir, with support from father and daughter, Peter and Laura Taylor, who will sang solos as part of the entertainment. The concert took place in Glastonbury Methodist Church, Lambrook Street, Glastonbury, on Saturday, July 14, at 7.30pm. Doreen Wells, founder of the Parkinson's UK
