In fine voice on special 90th landmark
The Glastonbury Male Voice Choir hosted a special celebration last week, with a 90th birthday concert.
The choir, founded in 1923, gave its first perfomance in July that year
It marked its 90th birthday with a sell-out concert at the town hall. The Glastonbury Male Voice Choir performed their 90th anniversary concert to a sell-out audience at Glastonbury Town Hall last week.
There was a special guest in the form of soprano, Sarah Minns.
The choir, which is led by Tracey Hansford, performed pieces including a Cole Porter medley, music from Les Miserables, the ever-popular Rhythm Of Life and some songs with a nautical flavour.
